About this policy
This policy explains how HotTugUK collects personal information about our customers and how we use it, keep it secure and our customers rights in relation to it. This also includes our subscribers to our monthly mailing list.

Responsible person for the purposes of the GDPR, the CEO will be the “controller” of all personal data we hold. Our Data Control Officer (DCO) will ensure we at hottug comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which applies from 25 May 2018.
How we protect your personal data
Management will process booking information electronically and all information will be held on our online booking system and Google Drive. All of our online bookings and payments are processed through a recognised online secure payment system. In the unlikely event of a breach of the security of data we will notify all of our customers immediately and report the issue. We will never sell or pass on your personal data.
The appropriate lawful basis upon which hottug UK rely on for the processing of personal data are: Booking process, this is necessary for booking confirmation (online/over the phone) between the hottug UK and the individual. Reservations, time changes and any add ons to the booking we rely on personal data. Other than that, our monthly newsletters inform our mailing list of charitable contributions we have made, promotions we may have on that monthand news about new locations opening. All images taken on our gopro by customers are used for customer usage and/or social media platforms. They are stored for approximately 1 year and then these are deleted.
Hot tug customer rights
You have rights under the GDPR to access your personal data, to be provided with information about how your personal data is processed, to have your personal data corrected, if requested to have your personal data erased.
Your personal data will be used for the purposes of organising and operating our improvements to our booking process and improving customer satisfaction. Your email may be used for communication about news & announcements, changes to hot tug sites, special events, and other important notices.
It will never be passed to anyone else.
You can request to see your personal information. We only hold onto personal email addresses after the time of booking is completed. But If you wish to know what personal data the club holds please email us at email@example.com we will respond within 48 hours.
The data are kept on file electronically. The data will normally be kept for up to 7 years after the individual has experienced the hot tug. It may be kept for a longer period for reasons of legal and civil action or other ongoing case management.
